Parking instructions for research participants

Parking directions for research participants at the Neuroimaging Facility remain the during weekdays from Monday through Friday, 7 am to 7 pm:

  • Research teams will call the parking attendant at the Memorial Information Booth 8-4771 at least two hours prior to the participant's arrival and provide the name and approximate arrival time of the research participant and the study contact name and number.
  • Parking attendant will ask client for picture ID.
  • Parking attendant will give them access to the small gated visitor lot behind Richter (lot 202).
  • If for any reason the attendant is not there and the participant has a parking ticket, please contact Doris Enamorado at dxe225@miami.edu.

For weekends and after 7 pm on workdays, there will be a PaybyPhone account that will allow the researchers to register participant appointments as “an event” which will create a link for parking. Once the link is created, there are 2 options:

  • Send the link to the participant and ask the participant to follow the link and input
    their car license plate #.
  • Once the participant arrives at NIS, you can do this same procedure for him/her but you have to make sure to let him/her know in advance that you’ll need their car license plate #
  • Note: all cars should be parked head in.
