Mark Jaime, Ph.D
Dr. Mark Jaime is currently an NICHD Postdoctoral Fellow in Autism and Developmental Disorders at the University of Miami, Department of Psychology. He received his Ph.D. in Developmental Psychobiology at Florida International University where he investigated how prenatal intersensory experience enhances attention, learning and memory in an avian neonate model. At the Social Development Lab, Dr. Jaime's current interest involves understanding how perceptual processes affect the development of social cognition. Dr. Jaime's research uses eye-tracking and EEG technology to explore the behavioral and neural substrates of joint attention and mirror neuron system functioning in both autism and typical development.
