Neuroscientist
The Department of Psychology is seeking to fill a tenure track faculty position in Neuroscience.  It is anticipated that this position will be filled at the Assistant or beginning Associate Professor level in any of the Department's research Divisions (Adult, Child or Health).  This search is emphasizing research interests in human cognitive neuroscience (e.g., using functional MRI).  Individuals with clinical or nonclinical interests in neuroscience (cognitive, social, developmental or behavioral) are encouraged to apply.  Candidate with substantial prior experience with advanced data analytic techniques are welcome.  For clinical appointment, a Ph.D. in Psychology from an APA accredited program or equivalent is required.  For non-clinical appointment, a Ph.D. in Psychology, Neuroscience or related area is required.  Appointment at a rank higher than the Assistant Professor level requires experience and qualifications commensurate with rank.  Faculty members in the Department of Psychology are expected to develop their own independent areas of research, teach courses at the graduate and undergraduate level and supervise doctoral students.  Review of applicants will begin immediately.  Applicants should send a CV, reprints or preprints, a statement of research and teaching interests, and 4 letters of reference to:

Adult Clinical Psychologist
Department of Psychology is seeking to fill a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant to Associate Professor level in adult clinical psychology, starting August 2014.  Ph.D. in Psychology from APA accredited program or equivalent.  We are particularly interested in persons who strive to integrate social and biological approaches to behavior (examples are social and cognitive neuroscience and behavioral genomics).  The Department has a new fMRI facility and anticipates growth in brain-related research areas.  Candidates will be expected to develop an independent research program, teach graduate and undergraduate courses, and supervise doctoral students.  Review of applications will begin immediately.  Applicants should send a CV, selected reprints or preprints, a statement of research and teaching interests, and 4 letters of reference to:

Health Psychologist
Division of Health Psychology seeks a tenure track Assistant, Associate or Full Professor, whose research interests complement or expand upon current faculty interests in cancer, cardiovascular disease, HIV/AIDS, metabolic syndrome and Type 2 diabetes.  Ph.D. in Psychology required.  Interest in minority health disparities research would be viewed favorably.  Appointment at rank higher than Assistant Professor requires experience and qualifications commensurate with rank.  Division has close affiliation with Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center and the University's Clinical and Translational Science Institute and has an NIH pre- and post-doctoral training grant in behavioral medicine approaches to cardiovascular disease.  Special interest in applicants who have established an independent research program and would benefit from conducting research in an interdisciplinary setting with ready access to ethnic/racial minority patients and community populations via the Department's Behavioral Medicine Research Center.  For more information about the Division and its newest initiatives in neuroimaging and the Hispanic Community Health Study, go to: http://www.psy.miami.edu/graduate/health/research.phtml.  Department has an APA accredited clinical training program and would look positively upon clinical applicants with Ph.D. from an APA accredited clinical psychology program.  Review of applicants will begin immediately.  Applicants should send a CV, reprints and/or preprints, a statement of research and teaching interests, and 4 letters of reference to:
